Daily fun!

 Here's my not so little Pickle. All my dogs love this pillow. I made it a few years ago and when I brought my Buster home he would lay in it he know just lays over it! My doggies are so very big now. So sad...

Here's the last of my Easter egg tree. I'm taking it down this week. Wow it made it almost to May.

My spring coming forth

 Here's my new bike from my hubby. Isn't she grand? I can't wait to ride her just in my little neighborhood. 

One of my roses blooming isn't she pretty? I just love the color!

I ought a very nice looking avacado plant. Can you see the very tiny start of an avacado? I can't wait to taste them. So yummy and good for you and me! Yum!

I'm working on a new afghan for spring. They are little motif that kinda look like flowers. But it's called the kalidascope afghan on the Red Heart site. It's so easy peasy to make. As soon as I get finished I'll take pics for you all to see.
High 80s here in Vegas. So nice I pray it last at least a month without getting to hot to quick!

Slippers

 Here's my cute little potholder I made for my sis. She wanted ones that were heavy enough so the heat wouldn't come through. I added a sheet of felt in the middle to give it more heft, turned out really nice. So I'm making myself a couple as well. So cute and easy peasy.

These are my little booties I made for my mom and sister for their birthdays. They like them, said they could use more, I'd really like to make myself some next. Heehee too funny make myself some!

I tried making pics of them all. Using one skein makes a pair of these slippers. So fun and easy to make.

  I've got to get back to my Lords Supper filet piece. As is I'm working so slow on it! I was hoping to have it completed by Easter, but now it seems maybe by next Easter as slow as I'm working and so many other items coming along. I keep finding things to take me a way from the filet piece.

  Be calm and keep warm... Crochet on and remember spring is coming...

I love this horse, so majestic!

  Lately every time in see pictures of horses I post them and I send the pics to my hubby.  I would love to own horses but alas I live in the city and have no room for them. A while back around 15 years ago I had a couple of awesome Great Danes. They think they are horses does that count? Lol

Wow have you noticed I have 30 followers as of today. Wow I can't believe 30 people would want to know anything about me.

One thing you need to know about me is I love my Lord and Savior Jesus and crocheting. Heehee what a pair me and Jesus, I think He must be amused by me and my crochet. I so enjoy it. I love reading all about crochet. So if you have a site or blog that is all about Jesus and crochet, hook a Sista up!

Weekend fun

 Here is my progress on the Lords. Supper filet piece I'm working on. I so enjoy seeing the picture come out of the thread.

This is my pool being washed with the rain. Can you see the rain drops hitting the water? It turned chilly here with the rain and cold. But not as cold as back east I'm sure.

Can you seehow wett is? But that was last weekend it's so pretty and warm here right now. Hubby  will be golfngi for work re is a tournament starting tomorrow that he's in. Wow he works so hard! Lol

  My mom, sister and niece are getting together for our annual birthday lunch we do this every year. I'm making some chunky slippers pattern I found on Moogleys site. They are so easy to make and a lot of fun

This blogging thing is messing me up, I'm having a difficult time fixing my errors, oh well I think you can figure out what I'm writing about!

This is my butterfly I made for my friend Diane. I was making it and she kept coming to my mind so I gave it to her!

St. Patricks Afghan 2014

 Awe my St. Patrick afghan of 2014 it was so easy to make this afghan. You can find the link to it on my Pinterest page under afghans. I think it's an all free patterns afghan. Like I said it was easy peasy pattern. I totally enjoyed making this, I kinda wish it never ended.

This is the edging. It turned out awesome! You make it seep rate from the afghan then added it to the end. I enjoyed doing that too!

I finished a few other items I'll post later. I've been busing myself with easy to do items the past few days. I need to get back to my Lords Supper, I just might do that today! I'll take a few pics for you to show you how far along I've got on it.

I'm preparing my guest room for  because my friend Mo is on his way here to escape a mirder charge! I do hope that's not true!

Another day

I found this little doily in Crochet World Spring 2014, I just fell in love with the design. I was going to work on my Lords Supper but I just had to make this little doily.. It's a easy peasy doily. So fun!

  I googled an old friend of mine that I haven't heard from since 1998. Her name happens to be Vicki, I know lots of Vicki's somehow,God hass brought them into my life.

  She lives in Mossori now, cold cold cold weather. I don't know how people live in that kinda weather. It was in the 70 s today and very sunny! I love it, nice and warm.

  I went to church on Sunday to hear my nephew Chris preach. Wow he was good, very funny and gets right to the point. I loved it, if he ever gets his own church I think I'd join up with him. He speaks the truth! Very refreshing!

  Ok I'll go back to my doily now. Be safe and warm...

Awe flowers

I can't wait for spring, I'm looking at flower catalogues. So pretty, I just miss flowers. Oh where oh where are the flowers. We have sunshine we've had rain, so bring on the flowers. How about you do you miss the smell of fresh spring flowers?

 Here's my Heart Doily for 2014 . Isn't it pretty? I love the pink the angel was given to me from my dear friend Karen Kissam. I just love the way the angel brings out the love in my doily!

I started on my St. Patrick Day afghan. So far so good. I love the pattern it is so easy peasy to make.do you have a St. Party's day afghan? It's not too late to start one!

This is my Christmas tree I so hated to see it put away so I kept it up and added red hearts on it for Valentines Day. I'm thinking if I'm not tired of it maybe for Easter I'll make flowers and maybe,eggs to add to it. Do you know of any patterns out there for me?

Hearts

 Here's my little heart doily I've been working on this past few weeks. It is turning out so pretty. I have 2 1/2 rows left and they are douses!

This is my doily I made. I don't know what to do with it, but I did make it so it could hang. Isn't it kinda cute?

I'm going top pickup my St Patricks afghan as soon as I've finished the heart doily. What have you been working on? I'd love to hear about you all and your doins!

Ok the weather here has been awesome, I've had the door open and hubby's been out golfing! How's your weather? They say for us to prepare because it can get really cold in afeburary. So here we are crocheting...

 This is my little test project I did for some one this week, do you like it?
And below is my Christmas tree turned into a Valentines tree!

Pumpkin cookies

Pumpkin cookies

2 1/2 cups    Unbleached white flour

1teas. Baking soda

1teas baking powder

1 teas. Ground cinnamon

1/2 teas. Ground nutmeg

1/2 teas. Salt

1 1/2 cups sugar

1/2 cup softened butter (1 stick)

1 cup pumpkin puree( fresh or canned)

1 egg

1 teas. Vanilla extract

1/2 cup well chopped nuts( walnuts or pecans)

  Mix in large bow flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon,nutmeg and salt.

  Beat sugar and butter till well blended.

  Beat in pumpkin, egg and vanilla extract.

  Gradually add in flour mixture mix well

Add in nuts if you choose to add them 

Drop by teaspoon full on pan sprayed sheet 

Bake at 350 for 15-18 minutes

  Cool before frosting

Frosting

8 oz softened cream cheese

4 tab. Softened butter

2 1/4 cups powdered sugar

1/2 teas. Vanilla extract

 Beat cream cheese bad butter till smooth and add in powdered sugar and vanilla until fluffy. If you have leftover frosting put in fridge

Everyday treats

The pic on top are my favorite pumpkin cookies, yum! I have got to stop making these!the pic on the bottom is my sweet Pickle. Isn't she lovely? She is so sweet!

This is where I left off last year with my Last Supper filet piece. I'm going to restart the project hoping to finish by Easter.

I have another one (really two) that I want to do too. What are you all going to work on in this awesome year of 2014?
