Stitches West Show

This was the door to get into the Stitches West Show.

This is what I saw first thing. Lots and lots of yarn goodness

There was lots of books but only beginning crochet books or crochet clothing books which I needed none of!

There was so much yarn but very expensive. I could buy at any yarn store if I wanted. The yarn I was looking for wasn't even there, what a bummer, back to the net to get my yarn. I really wanted some cool crochet hooks or such but the only one I found was a glass hook size K which I wasn't interested in. I was so disappointed there wasn't even thread there.

Lots of cloth items

This is the Knitmore Girls from the same name of their podcast. It's a knitting podcast but I really like listening to them. They inspired me to knit socks.

This will be the last show I go to. I really wanted to see what all the fuss was about. But it's really aimed at knitters or spinners no Crocheters. Once I saw it Im done.

Now I need to attend the Crochet Guilds Show maybe they will have what I'm looking for? What do you think?

San Francisco trip

Terry and I at wharf waiting for Alcatraz cruise

Isn't it awesome, I'd love to be on this ship

This is the front gate going into Chinatown! I bought the most awesome earthy tea.

Terry having an Irish coffee,

This is me waiting for the tram at Alcatraz.what else should I do?

This is the first thing I saw when I walked into the Stitches West show. There was very expensive yarn everywhere and there was not much of crochet items for me to purchase.

Here's a pic of the Knitmore Girls. I tried waiting in line to talk to them but it was way long. So I decided to skip it and just take a pic of them.

These are the seal lions at the end of Pier 39 they were all asleep

This is the big old sea gull waiting to eat our sourdough bread

This young lady makes these cute sourdough bears everyday we were there.

We had a really great time. I did lots of walking boy was I tired and my poor knees were not happy with it at all. But I'd do it again if Terry would like too.
My poor puppies missed us like crazy. Teacup would hardly eat and she sat where I sit the whole time I was gone. I don't have any idea how she will do when I go to our next trip for 2 weeks. Any ideas for support for her?

Aunty and cooking

Here I am in my cooking class at Sur la Table. Oh what fun! I made the most wonderful salmon dish. I love salmon so that's why I took the class. And it turned out great and yummy! I'd like to take more classes in the future.
This is my nephew Ryan. He's my oldest sisters youngest son. He's a very sweet young man.

Please pray for peace.
We are in such turmoil in the Middle East and the souls are suffering.
